THE ROLE - WHAT WE NEED
Yabie is seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to lead the development of our Point-of-Sale product for the SMB retail sector. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our product as we expand our offering in the retail sector. You will identify customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding customer pain points and market needs and translating them into actionable product roadmaps. You’ll be a part of our tight-knit product team, and spend much of your time collaborating with our in-house development team.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS - WHO YOU ARE
- Get your hands dirty immersing yourself in the SMB retail market in order to identify customer pain points, market trends and needs, and translate this into a structured and prioritized roadmap
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring alignment across the organization.
- Clearly communicate expectations and provide context to the development team, while also collaborating on final requirements
- Continuously track product performance, gather insights, iterate and refine the roadmap.
- Ensure your plan stays true to Yabie’s overall product vision, where ease of use is paramount
Qualifications
- We think that you’re either an experienced Product Owner eager to take on the SMB retail segment with an innovative solution, or an SMB retail expert with a deep understanding of the POS challenges of that sector and a desire to do something about them. Maybe you’re both!
- You’ll spend a lot of time collaborating with developers. You have hands-on experience working in a modern software development environment.
- You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
- You’re great at turning vision into execution, ensuring the development team has clear priorities and expectations. That includes writing and presenting clear, succinct feature descriptions and functional requirements.
- You’re 100% comfortable working, writing and presenting in English to your many non-Swedish co-workers.
- If you speak Swedish at an everyday level, that is a plus as you will be expected to spend time talking to real-world customers
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment in constant change, and enjoy collaborating across teams.
